***May 31st the Bunka Koryu Club will be holding its first fundraising event: The 2008 API Month Bowling Tournament. The tournament will be held from 2-5pm at Skyway Park Bowl and Casino. The $20 registration fee will cover three games, shoe rental, and entry into the tournament. The event is all ages, so bring the whole family. Teams are also more than welcome. PNWJETAA will have a booth to answer questions and share information about the JET Program and JETAA activities. We are looking for volunteers! If you’d like to volunteer for two or four hours on Friday - Saturday - and/or Sunday, please e-mail pnwjetaa (dot) social (at) hotmail (dot) com. This is a great way to meet lots of new people involved in the community and be a part of this fun community event!

For our third installment of JETAA questions, we’d like to know where your favorite Japanese restaurant is. It doesn’t matter if you are in Spokane or Seattle… we want to know! This will be a great resource for returning JETs looking for their Japan fix when they relocate to home in July!

JOIN PNWJETAA FOR OUR ANNUAL MEETING AND SHINNENKAI CELEBRATION.
Our Annual Meeting and Shinnenkai will be held on Friday, March 21st at REI’s Flagship Store in downtown Seattle from 6pm to 8:30pm. Our celebration will be held on the 2nd floor in the North Conference room (the larger of two). The cost per person will be only $6 and parking is available in the REI garage until 9pm for a nominal fee. There is guaranteed to be lots of food, fun, raffles and surprises in store!
